state report guidelines and due dates

Please look through the following links for guidelines and worksheets to help you begin your state report. This is not a group project but because we are all doing the same kind of report we can share resources and ideas with each other. students must write their own report and follow the due dates as listed.

use this booklet to help your take notes for your state report, your can either print the pages you need or use the guideleines to take notes in your compostion book.

(due to paper shortages, I will not be making 32 copies for the whole class)

5th grade state report guideline

Oral Presentation

Your oral presentation can include a Powerpoint, video, active inspire flip chart or other technology piece that inspires you. You can also make the standard poster on a tri-fold poster instead.

Due Dates

Notes: due the week of the 28th, January
First draft (rough): due the week of the 4th, February
Second draft (edited): due the week of the 11th, February
Third draft edited for text features: due the week of the 19th, February
Oral presentation (technology piece or poster + speech) due the week of the 25th, February
