reading-look for theme vs. big idea, fact vs. opinion
writing--Last edit for state report due tomorrow
getting ready for presentations--power points should have just headings and captions no paragraphs, paragraphs will go on your note cards that you should memorize as much as possible same goes for posterboards
Train your Brain- Next Thursday (2/28)---last day to memorize and  present the Gettysburg Address to the class---(Friday (3/1), Pizza party at lunch for those who memorized the whole speech)

Remind parents about party on Thursday. We will have the party after math from 11:25-12:00pm
We will not be going out to lunch so bring healthy food to the party.

Writing--next edit due this week---we should be editing for text features, before you turn in your edit get two friends to read your report and make suggestions or help correct errors, your friends need to sign their name at the end of your report to show that they helped edit your report
